The center will be one of the collaborating institutions of this new master. This degree will provide advanced training in the design of mathematical models and their applications in different fields of science and technology. Researchers from BCAM, which has several groups dedicated to mathematical modelling and extensive experience in this field, will collaborate in the master’s degree by giving specialized lectures.
Cordis highlights an interview with Dr MaĂ­ra Aguiar
The European Commission’s platform for dissemination of EU research results has published an article that features an interview between two Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellows: Dr Maíra Aguiar (BCAM-Ikerbasque) and Dr Federica Bressan (Ghent University). The article focuses on the importance of science communication in the context of the COVID-19 crisis during which Dr Aguiar joined BCAM’s modelling task force to assist public health managers and the Basque Government.
