Note from the Product Coordinator | What’s on your CDI bookshelf? | by Karla Accorto I can’t imagine I’m the first ACDIS leadership team member to say that I love to read. We all have passionately pursued careers in editing and writing, so it’s not a stretch for us to also love reading. I’m equal parts proud and embarrassed to say I’ve already read 14 books this year. Proud because I’m on track to beat my personal goal but embarrassed because, well, I can’t possibly read that much without neglecting some other things—laundry, chores, exercise, to name a few. I’m Karla, and I’m an editor and product coordinator on the ACDIS team. As they say, by comparison I’m new around here. One of my main responsibilities within ACDIS is to manage our CDI library, including the ACDIS Pocket Guide series. I serve as the editor for the books we publish, working closely with authors throughout the writing and publication process. So, it’s really no wonder I’ve always got books on the mind, whether they’re mystery, romance, or CDI. |
