How Bitcoin Miner CleanSpark Keeps Building In The Bear Market By Zack Voell “Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times.” – G. Michael Hopf
It’s no secret that bitcoin has been in a bear market for several months now. Not only are investors experiencing one of the hardest times in bitcoin's history, but also those in charge of securing the network are struggling as well during these difficult times.
The Bitcoin mining industry can be cruel at times. Miners not only have to invest in the required hardware and infrastructure, they also have to find a way to cover operational costs month by month independent of the Bitcoin price.
However, bear markets are precisely when mining winners are separated from losers and CleanSpark is determined to emerge from this bear market as a winner, stronger than ever. |

Despite Financial Times FUD, Bitcoin Is Not Crypto By Federico Rivi According to Jemima Kelly, columnist at The Financial Times, “Bitcoin can’t be separated from crypto.” Maybe for Kelly, soccer and baseball are also part of the same industry, because both playing fields are covered with grass and in both games a ball is involved.
According to Kelly, the people who support Bitcoin today have the same financial incentives as those pushing any other crypto token: Getting rich quick. She also claims that Bitcoin is centralized because of mining pools and its only strength is the first-mover-advantage that won’t last forever.
Such statements could not be more erroneous. Bitcoiners are in search of freedom and a better world, liberated from authoritarianism and financial oppression, not wealth. The Bitcoin network is the most decentralized and widely distributed network in the world. Bitcoin is unique in its kind and it does not only has the first-mover-adventage, it is still the only contender to disrupt the decaying and corrupted global financial system. |

Is Mining Censorship A Serious Threat To Bitcoin? By Zack Voell The way Bitcoin was designed was intended so that it would work equally for everyone and anyone could transact in a permissionless, censorship-resistant and unstoppable manner. So, previous transaction censorship attempts by miners is an important discussion topic.
Surprisingly, some mining teams have gone out of their way to design and launch products to try to censor certain transactions from being included in new blocks. The author of this article explores the history of attempts at censorship from certain actors in the mining sector and evaluates the successes or failures of these attempts and notes potential types of mining-related attacks for the future. |
