The hair and makeup looks at New York Fashion Week tend to skew on the minimalist side, but at the most recent spring/summer 2025 shows, which ended last Thursday, there was a decidedly new vibe. Dramatically bold looks dominated many runways, with pencil thin brows — some even fashioned out of vinyl, strong lips, smoky eyes and extreme embellishment the choice for some of the season’s most influential young designers. This week, we have a full report, plus the latest news from the world of beauty. — Jenny B. Fine, editor in chief, Beauty Inc |
