Forecast for Saturday, February 23 | |||||||||||||
Becoming sunny & beautiful, but strong winds will create a high grassfire danger 🔥 ~ SarahUpdate from Sarah SpiveyGood morning!If you're planning on starting your Saturday early, be prepared for drizzle and fog. But an approaching weak cold front will clear skies shortly after dawn. At this point, it will become windy with winds from the west at 15-25 with gusts up to 35 mph.Because of the high winds and the dry conditions behind the front, grassfire danger will be high today. There is a RED FLAG WARNING until 6 pm. Use caution, and please make sure to extinguish cigarettes completely.Other than the windy conditions, it will be a beautiful day with highs climbing into the low-70s. Tonight, winds will calm and temperatures will fall into the upper-30s by sunrise Sunday. We'll round the weekend out with another pleasant day, with highs in the 60s tomorrow.
