Cushman & Wakefield navigated the past year’s challenges despite the uncertainty, and achieved significant profit within reduced sales. The firm recorded 13% increase in profit margins and 18% increase in gross margins in 2020, mainly due to its success in delivering consultancy solutions to a wide range of clients across the GCC, including UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman aside from its home market – Saudi Arabia. Video: Transguard Group secures Security Company of the Year 2021 award Transguard Group took home the Security Company of the Year award. Transguard Group expanded its sizeable reach with the signing of some significant contracts across a number of sectors. For example, Transguard Security Services is the sole security provider for ENBD, as well as for Emaar, the nation’s largest property developer. Transguard has long provided security for the developer’s Hospitality and Entertainment portfolios, but in the summer of 2020 the contract expanded to include all of Emaar’s residential communities. Following a swift mobilisation period, security teams comprised of project managers, supervisors, administrators, traffic management, CCTV operators and security guards were deployed to each community.
