Ironside is a bold English-Style Barleywine. The color of this beer is a breathtaking burnt sienna with a gorgeous off-white head. Ironside is full-bodied yet deceptively easy drinking for 11.3% ABV.

24 months in a single Brandy puncheon allowed this beer to develop complex notes of caramel, toffee, gingerbread, clove, oak, vanilla, and butterscotch candies. The finish is moderately dry and leaves a pleasantly roasty charred oak flavor dancing on the palate.
