Jill Krementz has loved photographing our cultural world over the years — theater, ballet, opera, the symphony, readings and other performances. She's especially loved going behind the scenes and seeing the process that includes the rehearsals, the preparations of sets and costumes, the performers in their dressing rooms and their backstage warm ups.
