Mastering anxiety

Dear Yogi,

Anxiety is deeply connected to our fast-paced, 21st-century social living. Being alive in our modern age means a susceptibility, or even pre-disposition, to feeling anxious.

The good news – modern, movement-based yoga has given us the tools to use our bodies to influence our nervous system and take back some control over our stress responses. And, since anxiety begins in the mind, as ultimately it’s our mind that is perceiving threats and reacting to those perceptions, working with our mind can also break the anxiety cycle.

Here are some techniques to master your anxiety and transition from stress to calm.
