Neighborhood Gallery: An abandoned building that collapsed Saturday in Central City once served as an arts hub on the Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard cultural corridor, operating as a thrift shop, theater and gallery showcasing Black artworks. Joni Hess has the story of the building's rise in the 1990s and its long-running demise since Hurricane Katrina.
Guilty: A jury convicted Slidell pastor John Raymond Monday on charges of cruelty to juveniles stemming from the disciplinary practices he used at a Christian school he founded. Raymond, a former "Survivor" contestant who is also active in local political circles, was accused of taping and holding students' mouths shut. Alex Lubben has the details from court.
Landmark verdict: A New Orleans jury has found that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana shortchanged a St. Charles Avenue surgical center more than $400 million on thousands of breast reconstruction surgeries. Stephanie Riegel explains why the verdict has those in the insurance industry worried.
