Being Faithful in a Post-Christian World

It’s getting harder and harder to deny that the U.S. is secularizing. Whether it’s the declining number of people claiming to be Christian or falling rates of church attendance, the reality is difficult to escape. We’re no longer a Christian nation, if we were ever one to begin with.

That raises a question for Christians: how can we be faithful living in the margins? One interesting perspective comes from outside the Christian camp. Seth Kaplan, an Orthodox Jew, “advises American evangelicals on how to keep—and pass on—the faith in an increasingly pagan culture.” Read: How to Flourish as a Creative Minority.

For a deeper dive into the topic, check out our resource Ministry in the Margins. This 20-page resource offers practical tips and examples to help church leaders understand and maximize the opportunities for ministry in a post-Christian context.
