The five-bedroom equestrian property, owned since 2010 by one of Rupert Murdoch’s nephews, has a 1940s residence originally designed by architect Cliff May that has since been expanded and updated to 21st-century standards. There’s also a pool and an open-air poolside cabana with a stone fireplace, along with a two-story guesthouse and—though he's not known to own any—a stable for horses. Other A-listers like Diane Keaton, Ryan Murphy, and Steven Spielberg own properties in the immediate vicinity. And in New York’s lower Hudson Valley, a defense contractor seeks $2.7 million for a custom-built "safe house" complete with a guard house, several panic rooms, and a NASA-designed water filtration system.
