CAM Members: Free, Museum Admission all others An insightful and popular speaker, painter and printmaker Benjamin Billingsley will select works from CAM's new exhibition Minnie, Clyde, Annie, Vollis that intrigue and have captured his imagination to discuss the works with an artist's eye. Billingsley has had several solo exhibitions and been in numerous group shows, and recently completed a Visiting Artist Residency at East Carolina University. He currently teaches studio art and art history in the Fine Arts Department at Cape Fear Community College. |

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Namé has been performing in the Cape Fear region since 2010. | Performance A Time When Art, Dance and Social Justice Issues are Everywhere
Thursday, April 25, 6:30 PM, $10
This dance performance is a collection of small group works created through a collaboration between the Hoggard High School Dance Department student choreographers and graduate students enrolled in EDL 558: Social Justice Topics in Education at the University of North Carolina of Wilmington. Each piece is inspired by a social justice concept that, like art, is found everywhere and in all cultures. The choreographers were further challenged to connect their work to pieces exhibited in the museum. A discussion will follow the performance where dancers and graduate students will reflect on the collaborative process and answer questions from the audience.

| Concerts@CAM Mark Teachey: The Music of Glen Campbell & Jim Croce Thursday, May 2, 2019, 6:30 PM
CAM Members/Students: $12.00; Non-Members: $17.00 Mark Teachey shares the songs, and stories of the men behind the music. Some of the songs Mark will perform include Croce's "Time In A Bottle", "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown", and "Operator" and Campbell's "By The Time I Get To Phoenix", "Rhinestone Cowboy", and "Wichita Lineman". Mark Teachey grew up in the 1970's listening to and learning to play Croce's and Campbell's music, and his great respect for the music shines through in performance. |
