I keep writing about glorious spells of weather, but there have been quite a few in Northern Ireland since the first lockdown of 2020 (which saw the best back-to-back April and May of my lifetime). And this past week was again wonderful, with long spells of sunshine across NI. The forecasters said it would end today, the start of the bank holiday weekend, and sure enough it is grey as I write this. And it is due to be grey and damp for the Belfast marathon tomorrow. But maybe such conditions are not so bad for the runners The election is days away and Henry McDonald's last interview with a unionist leader is the DUP An SDLP candidate has become the first non unionist to give a clear answer to a feminist group that has challenged local politicians over protection of female-only space A non-denominational evangelical in Ballymena, with historic ties to Wrightbus, is said to be suffering governance issues And here is Johnny Morton on the impact of New Zealand cricket talent in Northern Ireland As ever there is so much more in print and online, including in our bumper News Letter and Farming Life, which is in the shops until tomorrow. --
