CBS Sports Football Pick Six Newsletter

It's Thursday, which means it's time to fire up some football. R.J. White joined me on today's pod to break down the betting and DFS angles in Bengals-Browns that you need to know, including a SPICY 80-to-1 lottery ticket prop (plus, check out Jared Dubin's excellent matchup preview of the game where he takes the Bengals to win outright).
Speaking of picks, I've made 16 of them for Week 2 and told you what I learned from watching football in Week 1 (spoiler alert: I was right all along). I'm backing a few big 'dogs to not only cover, but win outright; check out why I'm the only CBS NFL expert with the GUTS to back the Browns.
The Eagles and Patriots are two teams that spent first-round picks on receivers in recent drafts and that also still have problems at receiver that need to be addressed with first-round picks in the draft, according to Josh Edwards. See which teammates they land, and also how far Trevor Lawrence falls (what is Jacksonville DOING?).

I thought approximately ZERO people would be rushing to take the Jets after that dud they laid in Week 1, but I was wrong -- there's at least one man brave enough to throw the Jets in his best bets column. Tom Fornelli explains why the Jets will cover against the defending NFC champions, and also why you should be eyeing a pair of key Unders in Week 2.
The Bucs had a prime opportunity to set the narrative in the NFC South by beating the powerhouse Saints in Week 1, but that didn't happen. Jeff Kerr sat down with one of their offense's star players, Chris Godwin, to find out why. Godwin also had plenty to say about Tom Brady, Bruce Arians and more.
No one knows the situation Dak Prescott finds himself in better then NFL on CBS analyst Tony Romo, the longtime quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. So Patrik Walker picked Romo's brain about Dak's contract situation and find out why the former Dallas star expects the two sides to strike a deal in 2021. Also don't miss why Romo compares this situation to LeBron James.
