Dear Berlin fan,

In the capital we have just enjoyed the first real snowfall of the year. It covered the whole of Berlin in a peaceful white and put a smile on the faces of Berliners.

Now the city still seems a bit like it is in hibernation. However, behind the still closed doors, ideas for Berlin's reopening are already being diligently worked on. So stay excited and look forward with confidence to the coming months of the still young year.

Until you can discover and experience Berlin's highlights for yourself, we have put together a few tips for you in this issue on how you can bring a piece of Berlin home to yourself.

Enjoy reading, seeing and taking part!
