| Falls Sie nicht in Berlin waren, als die BSR während der Ferien den heißen Straßen einen Aufguss verpasste – Bernd Matthies hat diese und andere Geschichten aus dem Berliner Sommer hier für Sie noch mal zusammengefasst. „Berlin baut die Mauer wieder auf“ („B.Z.“): Mit einem internationalen Kulturprojekt will die Künstlergruppe „DAU“, unterstützt von der Senatskanzlei und „Visit Berlin“, der Wendeereignisse gedenken (die „Morgenpost“ hatte darüber bereits am Sonntag berichtet). Aber ist das jetzt „ein Weltereignis“, wie Berlins CDU-Chefin Monika Grütters sagt? Oder provinzieller Historien-Kitsch, wie Kritiker meinen (auch Spitzenkräfte in der CDU)? Eindrucksvoll ist jedenfalls die Reihe der Künstler, die dabei sein sollen (u.a. Banksy, Anselm Kiefer, Marina Abramovic, Massive Attack). Fest steht: Am 9. November ist die Mauer wieder weg, so oder so. Jan Fleischhauer vom „Spiegel“ hält Berlin für „das Venezuela Deutschlands“. Wikipedia schreibt dazu: „Venezuela ist ein Land, das sich durch seine facettenreiche Natur auszeichnet. Vor der Küste liegen mehrere tropische Urlaubsinseln, darunter die Isla de Margarita und das Archipel Los Roques“ – bei uns heißt das Tiergarten, Pfaueninsel und Schwanenwerder. Auch der „Focus“ hat sich mal wieder über die Berliner Politik gebeugt, hier eine Zusammenfassung („Hauptstadt der Arroganz“): „träge, dröge, bräsig, peinlich, grau, dürftig, kleinkariert, selbstgefällig, provinziell, katastrophal, ignorant…“. Ach ja, „Käseglocke“ ist auch dabei. Fazit: „Alles wäre gut – wenn es die Stadtregierung nicht gäbe.“ Tja, wenn Berlin das Venezuela Deutschlands ist, ist der Focus der Bayernkurier Preußens. |
