Christians in Spokane, Wash., protested plans by the city council Monday to censure or formally rebuke Spokane Mayor Nadine Woodward for attending a worship event hosted by conservative activist missionary Sean Feucht and receiving prayer from former state legislator-turned-pastor, Matt Shea last month. Religious leaders and residents strongly disputed narratives—including from Woodward's political rival in the mayoral campaign, Lisa Brown—that the event was "hate" motivated and "Christian nationalist." A drag performer affiliated with the anti-Catholic Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence network has been removed from his troupe's website after he was arrested for indecent exposure. Multiple witnesses reported that Clinton Monroe Ellis-Gilmore, 53, of Eureka, Calif., was "sitting in his truck with the door open, masturbating for approximately one hour," authorities revealed.
