Anybody can write about who to bet on, but R.J. White actually lives it. R.J.'s back from Vegas with a ton of juicy tips for win totals (check out the three unders he LOVES) and we also break down the MVP and Super Bowl bets he made ... it's pure gambling goodness for SportsLine Day, and we also talk latest NFL news, fantasy and much more.
With less than two weeks before the Cowboys opener Ezekiel Elliott is still a holdout, but rest easy Dallas fans, help is on the way. Joel Corry used his expertise as a former agent and came up with a plan for how to end the stalemate. Joel says it starts by letting Zeke have a couple of wins in the negotiations; here's exactly what he means.
Prepare yourself for the biggest misnomer in sports, the 'final cutdown to the 53-man roster.' The reality is, at best it's the middle of a process that includes waiver claims, signings and more. Let's pretend it's Day 1 of the 2012 NFL Draft again, but this time teams have the benefit of a crystal ball. They know Andrew Luck will retire at age 29, and they know what happens to other players, too. How would the top 10 picks look? Sean Wagner-McGough's redraft has Russell Wilson going No. 1, and that's the least controversial pick; here's where Luck's slide ends.
A player whose ADP is inside the top 120 might still qualify as a sleeper, but he's certainly not a SUPER SLEEPER. Jamey Eisenberg came up with a list to help you find this year's version of Nick Chubb or George Kittle in the late rounds, and it includes two Ravens, as well as an AFC West tight end who's in a 'good spot.'
It's starting to look like Melvin Gordon could either pull a Le'Veon Bell and skip 2019 or force a trade, but Jordan Dajani says neither will happen. Instead, with the Chargers playing just two playoff teams in their first seven, Gordon will give in when he sees L.A.'s OK without him, and Jordan has four more bold Chargers predictions (it won't exactly be a happy ending).
