G'day,

Forget the US tech giants, the best place to work for a budding start-up founder is right here in the likes of Safety Culture and Canva, new data shows.

This 11-year-old venture capital fund has pocketed $44m and a “rare” win after three of its portfolio companies exited over the past 12 months.

Australian tech minnow Cocoon Data says it’s poised to become a $US100m ($152.4m) business after signing a partnership with Google and gaining accreditation from the US government to gain access to public sector customers in the world’s biggest economy.
