Kate DiGirolomo Coming Attractions
Kate DiGirolomo, SELF-e Community Coordinator

The Oscars may be over, but movie talk is still going strong here at LJ. Senior Editor and What We’re Reading leader Liz French has a new query for the staff: What are we watching? Meanwhile, those looking to relive the nostalgia of the drive-in or expand their knowledge on the year’s greatest documentaries have come to the right place.

To bolster collections, librarians can turn to contributor Robin Bradford’s tips for rejuvenating music materials, dive into LJ’s Best Reference selections, or find essential works about and by the Native American community. Also, nominations for the Nebula Awards have been revealed, and Fiction Editor Wilda Williams has culled our reviews of the honorees.

And there’s still time to register for LJ’s live workshop about collection development and merchandising. The first session is this Wednesday, March 8.
