GOOD TO-GO Backpacking Meals

GOOD TO-GO makes some our favorite instant meals for outdoor adventures, and we really like their two new flavors.

Their Cuban Rice Bowl is a hearty, rice-n-beans-based vegetarian meal with plenty of protein to satisfy a hungry belly after a long day on the trail. The garlic crema sauce with poblano pepper, sour cream powder, and a blend of spices gives it a delicious flavor that's both tangy and spicy. The contrasting textures of the creamy sauce and chewy plantain bits make it taste a lot more like a fresh-cooked meal too.

The Chicken Pho is a bit lighter calorically, but it's savory, zesty, and spicy broth really hits the spot on chilly evenings in the mountains. This soupy, rice noodle-based dish has refreshingly exotic flavors of ginger, hints of cinnamon, and shiitake mushrooms. We also loved the included crystalized lime packet, which gave the Pho an interesting citrusy bite we wanted more of.
