Walmart is expanding its previously-limited drone delivery service to 100 additional stores in Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Orlando and Tampa. |
It can fly deliveries within a six-mile range of its stores and reach customers in less than half an hour. |
Fox framed the announcement as part of a larger competition between Amazon and Walmart on delivery and e-commerce. |
In the past, Clark has spoken glowingly of Walmart+ and often teases colleagues for paying the sometimes-steep prices that Amazon charges. |
