Editor's Notes

Happy Monday! Here are a couple ways to stay in touch alongside our usual newsfeed this week:

  • Sign up for our new texting service: Get text messages from me about local news through the newly-launched Texting Baltimore. You can even reply, and tell me what you think. It's a partnership between Technical.ly + my daily email newsletter Baltimorning, and the whole thing is powered by the Subtext platform. For $3/month, get closer to Baltimore news and support the work to bring it to you.

  • Super Meetup is this Thursday: Technical.ly's annual summer meetup of meetups is going virtual this year. That means it's bringing together technical groups (and, as you'll read below, hiring companies) from around the Mid-Atlantic on one big Zoom event. We'll have talks and trivia, so you can test and learn with your tech knowledge. Join us this Thursday, August 13, from 4-5:30 p.m. RSVP here.
