Yep, folks are still using ridiculous passwords |
123456 is still not a good password. And it never will be |
Despite being told year after year to take care when creating passwords for online accounts, new research by password manager service NordPass shows 123456 topping a list of popular easy-to-crack passwords ... again. In second spot is 123456789. And you may not be surprised to learn that 12345678 placed third, while password came in fourth. The list was partly built from databases of cracked passwords on the dark web, so they could go back a long time rather than be a reliable indicator of more recent password behavior. Still, it’s a good reminder to take care when managing your own passwords ... |

Urbanista updates its Copenhagen earbuds with a lower price |
The original buds were a solid choice for budget-conscious shoppers, so these will definitely be worth a look, as well |
Urbanista has updated its Copenhagen wireless earbuds with some new features, including Bluetooth multipoint compatibility that lets you connect two devices simultaneously. They also now run the latest version of Bluetooth (5.4), which should provide better wireless stability. Playtime has been improved, too, so you should get seven hours per charge, with a total of 36 hours with the charging case — up from 32 total hours on the original Copenhagen buds. Notable is the new, lower price. The updated Copenhagen 2 buds are just $49 — $20 less than the first-gen buds. They're available now in three color choices: black, lavender, or white ... |

However, at the current time, you’ll need to buy or rent it. Noted by The Hollywood Reporter, you can purchase Saturday Night digitally in 4K Ultra HD for $25 or rent it for $20 at Prime Video, Apple TV, among other places. A Sony Pictures deal with Netflix means it could be part of subscribers’ streaming packages possibly as soon as next month or early January 2025 ... |

Xbox is testing a handheld device, but it’s a long ways off |
An Xbox handheld would enter an increasingly competitive sector alongside devices like the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck |
Xbox CEO Phil Spencer has confirmed to Bloomberg long-running rumors that the company is working on a handheld device. But he added that it’s only at the prototyping stage, suggesting it could be a few years before it makes it to market — if it ever does. Spencer himself also fueled rumors of an Xbox handheld earlier this year when he expressed excitement at his team’s work “around different form factors and different ways to play.” But a roadmap that leaked last year showing Xbox’s plans through 2030 appeared to suggest that fans could be in for a long wait ... |
