Dear John Do,
The Olympic flame was lit with hydrogen rather than natural gas during the opening of the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Nikolaus Boltze, long-term HamburgAmbassador to Tokyo, is among 31 voluntary Hamburg Ambassadors in 24 countries, who represent Hamburg’s interests across the globe. Boltze gives insight into Japan’s aggressive hydrogen strategy and how the country is managing the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the hydrogen sector in the Port of Hamburg continues to take shape. And a Xing survey sheds light on the changing labour market. Another Hamburg News report outlines five technology trends that are likely to shape 2022.
