Issue No. 1284: August 23, 2022

Late August produce is such a blessing. The abundant chiles, tomatoes, and squash push me to try new dishes and find new ways to use our local bounty. Plus, the month’s intense heat makes me rethink my cooking altogether, instead opting for no-cook recipes and easy dinners on the grill. This week, I’m whipping up fresh lettuce wraps, Shrimp Skewers with Old Bay Butter, and a juicy panzanella. Find recipes for all three—and many more—below!
