Good afternoon,

BHP has temporarily suspended operations at its Nickel West and West Musgrave operations, citing oversupply in the global nickel market and putting 3000 jobs on the line. The mining behemoth said it will review the decision by February 2027.

ANZ has vowed to take action on allegations about the rigging of government bond rates and cultural issues within its markets unit, which it will take with the “utmost seriousness”, bringing in two law firms to uncover any evidence of wrongdoing.

And alleged false or misleading promotions to customers have landed consumer goods retailer The Good Guys in court , with the ACCC claiming the discount goods franchise misled customers with store credit promotions.
