Biden's day NOLA: With his days in the Oval Office counting down, President Joe Biden visited New Orleans yesterday to highlight a subject of great personal interest: finding a way to make cancer, which has killed millions, including his son Beau, far less lethal. Tyler Bridges has the details from the president's day in town, including what he ordered when he dropped in at Drago's in Metairie. Amzie Adams turns 80: Everybody knows Amzie Adams. He’s the dude with the dangling Leonardo da Vinci hair and whiskers, the witch doctor-top hat and weird snake-eyed sunglasses. He's also the dude who's about to turn 80. In honor of his birthday, Doug MacCash sat down with the legendary New Orleans artist to reflect on his long and thrilling life and deep love for the Crescent City. Act 10: Since DA Jason Williams took office in 2021, his civil rights division has generated relief for hundreds of Louisiana prisoners, including many who have gone free from life terms. But a new law that took effect this month stripped DAs and judges of some of these abilities. John Simerman explains.
