Forecasters say it is unlikely that southern Louisiana will have frozen precipitation as a cold front goes through and temperatures plummet, meaning roads should remain open. Wind gusts of up to 45 mph will arrive after the upcoming rain and dry things off before the temperatures drop below freezing, forecasters say.
