Big three with Vols and the Final Four

Greetings from Dallas.

There's big news busting out all over the LSU sports scene on this Thursday.

From the Women's Final Four in Dallas, to LSU's blockbuster baseball series at home this weekend with Tennessee, to big happenings at LSU's Pro Day on Wednesday, there are all kinds of major happenings we simply must bring to your attention.

First, baseball. There will be major league prospects galore at The Box when the Tigers meet the Volunteers this weekend. We've got all the details on the big series right here.

Thursday is practice and press conference day at the Women's Final Four for LSU, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Iowa. We've got all the details from Dallas here as well.

Billboards touting LSU's athletic success are nothing new. The rather cheeky location of this pre-Final Four women's basketball board just might be.

LSU football Pro Day was another eye-raising day for former Tigers wide receiver Kayshon Boutte — and not in a good way. Check out what he did and didn't do at Pro Day, as well as news on the Tigers who did make a positive impression.

Don't know if this exactly news since it doesn't come as a big surprise, but LSU's "Bayou Barbie" Angel Reese is the top NIL earner among women's college basketball players. What is her value? Well, you have to click for that info, don't you.

Finally, LSU softball takes a break this weekend from SEC action with three non-conference foes at Tiger Park in the Purple and Gold Challenge.

Thanks for reading, following, subscribing and just being a great human being. Wait here while we rent a billboard to tell the world how much we appreciate you.

Getting geeked up for a big sports weekend,

Scott Rabalais
