The week's biggest real estate stories. Millionaires and billionaires just love buying their neighbors’ homes, and the latest to hop on that trend is Jennifer Gross, the philanthropist daughter of PIMCO chief Bill Gross. Gross has paid $20 million on the mansion next door to her $35 million Beverly Hills estate; the Regency-style spread was built in 1958 for the original developer of the Trousdale Estates tract, and has been carefully preserved and maintained over the years. Elsewhere, “Call Her Daddy” podcast host Alex Cooper has doled out $10.7 million for lavish new digs in the Studio City hills. The colonial-style compound spans over 1.5 acres and includes the main house, a guest house and an outdoor courtyard with a swimming pool. |
