Question of the Week | Tuesday we asked: A new minor league arena football team begins play on Saturday at the DCU Center in Worcester: the Massachusetts Pirates of the National Arena League. | How popular will Worcester's new arena football team be? | | I would love to see the Pirates succeed. I am afraid they have not done enough to get people excited for this season though. Hopefully that will pick up once the team actually starts playing. It will be good if they get the marketing right. Keep the football excitement going in the pro off-season, etc. Since no baseball confirmed for the city, it could be a good fill in. Also, downtown is slowly changing for the better, and that could be a factor. Go Pirates!! No shot. It's just not a high quality product, period. | See All Comments >> | |
