Blac Chyna's case against the Kardashian family has officially commenced.

The socialite is suing the family for $100 million, claiming they defamed her and influenced the cancellation of the reality show Rob & Chyna.

Here's what you need to know about the trial:

When did it all start?

Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, first filed a case against her ex-fiancé Rob Kardashian in 2017.

In court documents obtained by People, Chyna claimed Rob's July 2017 social media outburst in which he accused her of cheating and drug abuse caused significant damages to her brand.

The lawsuits also stated Rob's actions and his family's influence are what brought on the cancellation of the E! reality show.

In the same year, Rob also filed a lawsuit against Chyna, alleging she committed domestic violence against him in December 2016 in the home they once shared.

The Kardashians denied any wrongdoing and in 2017 asked the courts to dismiss Chyna's case, but it was rejected by the court in 2018.

Five years on, a judge ordered the Kardashian/Jenners to be deposed for a second time

"Chyna will be permitted to question all individuals, despite their objection to the trial court that they are 'too busy running billion-dollar companies' to comply with Chyna's subpoenas," Chyna's attorney Lynne Ciani said in a statement to E! News in January.

"The trial court agreed with Chyna that Kris, Kim, Khloe, and Kylie are not above the law, and they must respond under oath to questions by her attorney."
