Blossom Music Center concert menu features celebrity chefs, signature drinks, local food faves & more

Live Nation, the global concert promoter that books and stages the pop concerts at Blossom Music Center and is under a contract with the Cleveland Orchestra, has a corporate division devoted to developing the food and beverage experience at venues it manages around the world. At Blossom, those experiences include the sit-down restaurant Blossom Grille (reservations recommended) and stands developed by Live Nation in partnership with celebrity chefs. Concertgoers will find Koko’s Bavarian, Trejo’s Tacos, Volt Burgers, Art Bird, Badass Nachos by Chef Tim Love, Baked by Jon & Vinny’s, and CVT Soft Serve. East Cleveland’s Loiter café on hold amid lawsuit against Cuyahoga County Land Bank

Loiter Cafe and Marketplace, the first tenant in East Cleveland’s emerging Circle East District development, was scheduled to open in mid-June. That didn’t happen because of a dispute with the property’s landlords, Cuyahoga County Land Bank and CCLRC East Cleveland that has now ended up in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. READ MORE

The West Side Market is feeding its YouTube channel with a new series of cooking videos featuring local chefs. Gunselman’s Steakhouse & Bar sets opening date

Gunselman’s Steakhouse & Bar is slated to open next week in the old Olmsted Falls Library at 7928 Main St. in Olmsted Falls. After a private ribbon cutting Tuesday, July 9, the restaurant will open its doors at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 10. Gunselman’s original location has been in Fairview Park since 1936. A to-go location was opened in Rocky River in 2022. The new restaurant is billed as a blend of polished-casual dining on the main level with cozy ambiance of an open-air pub on the lower level. 56 Social Café to open in former J. Pistone Market space

56 Social Café & Catering is opening in Shaker Heights this fall. The restaurant will take over the space formerly occupied by J.Pistone Market & Gathering Place. J. Pistone closed in June after 24 years of operation. The new restaurant is a product by Izzy Schachner and Jay Leitzon. They also own 56 Kitchens in Solon and Mayfield.
