BMW Charity Pro-Am canceled 

One of the largest sporting events in the Upstate — and one of the state’s most significant fundraising efforts — will not happen in 2020. The PGA Tour has canceled the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by Synnex Corp. because of COVID-19 concerns.

SCMEP reports "incredible response" to supply portal

Chuck Spangler, CEO and president of the S.C. Manufacturing Extension Partnership, said he was awake until midnight after the announcement of the portal, responding to S.C. manufacturers who want to sell their critical needs goods on the site.

AFL prints hundreds of face shields

Fiber optics-manufacturer AFL has added face shields to its repertoire.The Spartanburg-based manufacturer has already distributed more than 100 face shields to Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s Spartanburg Medical and Pelham Medical centers.
