Translation rights have gone on offer for the first time Monday (April 1) at Bologna Children's Book Fair for actress Lupita Nyong'o's picture book, Sulwe. 

 

Wanting to see more African characters in children's books—both in Africa and internationally—publishers Sarah Odedina and Deborah Ahenkorah have formed a new partnership.

Announced since 2013 in six geographical parts of the world, the list this year includes Canada's Comme des géants and Ghana's Sub-Saharan Publishers.
