Happy Turkey Day! Bomb cyclone on its way to Minnesota. It’s expected to bring lots of snow and ice to the state this weekend. Tonight, light snow chance in southwestern Minnesota and along the North Shore. Friday highs in the metro area will be in the lower 30s.

What’s on your turkey dinner table tonight? Some Minnesotans with multicultural backgrounds shared what’s on their holiday menu this year. Give them a listen here!

Remember the unified Korean women’s hockey team in 2018 Olympics? They had some Minnesota connection. In a new book, “A Team of Their Own,” by Seth Berkman, members of the hockey team talk on how the team was first created, how the “imports” players from North America and South Korean players bonded, and how the unified team came together a few weeks before the Olympics. FYI, the team practiced in Minnesota and one of the “imports” was from here!

Somalia burial planned for Minnesota high-rise fire victim
The county medical examiner identified all five victims and said they all died of smoke inhalation. “I will never get my mother back,” she said, adding it was her mother’s wish to be laid to rest in Somalia.
