S.C. farms expand business with $125K in state grants

Entrepreneurs from across the state were awarded a combined $125,000 from the S.C. Department of Agriculture to grow operations. Recipients include Upstate lavender, alpaca and worm casting farms.

Women’s health practice to open Simpsonville location

Carolina Women’s Health, part of the Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, plans to open a second practice location, in Simpsonville. The practice at 210 LaDean Court is scheduled to open July 13.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting a live virtual event on assistance opportunities for entrepreneurs, non-profits, Hispanic-owned businesses, and faith-based organizations Friday June 26, at noon.
