Women's History Month Women's History Month is an annual celebration that takes place in March to highlight the vital role women have played throughout history. The month-long observance aims to recognize the achievements and contributions of women in various fields, including science, politics, arts, and social justice. It also provides an opportunity to shed light on the challenges and obstacles that women have faced and continue to face in their quest for equality and recognition. Women's History Month is a time to honor the trailblazing women who have paved the way for future generations and inspire us to keep fighting for gender equity and empowerment. The 2023 theme is "Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories." This theme recognizes "women, past and present, who have been active in all forms of media and storytelling including print, radio, TV, stage, screen, blogs, podcasts, news, and social media."
