How to Get Back Into Ketosis

What Happens to Your Body After a Carb Binge? How to Get Back Into Ketosis

Let’s not create the illusion that low-carb is easy all the time. Once in a blue moon, you may get stressed and eat mindlessly. Or, your aunt drops off her blue-ribbon cake that's made of childhood memories, and you give in, just this once. Or, you had a jam-packed day and all you can muster to make for dinner is that package of gluten-free noodles in the back of your pantry. The next thing you know, you’ve eaten enough carbs for a week, and you wonder how you’ll get back into ketosis after a carb binge.

The important thing to remember is, you did not obliterate your goals with one misstep. Yes, you will recover and get back into ketosis. Here's what to expect, and how to get back to feeling like your best self.

Cauliflower Buffalo Wings: Whole30, Paleo, Vegan & Keto Spin on Your Favorite App

Have a spicy wing night, Primal style. Even die-hard hot wing enthusiasts can get behind this crunchy, saucy vegan appetizer with a kick.

Ingredients

Instructions

Place cauliflower florets into a large bowl. Add Primal Kitchen Buffalo Sauce and toss to coat each cauliflower floret in the sauce (use tongs if you'd like). Sprinkle cauliflower florets with almond flour, using the tongs to distribute evenly. Sprinkle with more almond flour so that each floret is well coated.

Spray the tray of an AirFryer with avocado oil. Place cauliflower florets on the AirFryer tray and place inside the AirFryer. Bake for 20 minutes at 400ºF, checking the florets every 5 minutes after they've cooked for 10 minutes and shaking the AirFryer basket. Remove from AirFryer and plate with sliced celery and carrots. Serve with Primal Kitchen Vegan Ranch Dressing.
