With the end of 2019 fast approaching, Bowel Cancer Australia is planning for 2020 and beyond.
We’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $25,000 before 31 December to continue our collective effort to end bowel cancer.
We urgently need supporters like you to help us if we are going to achieve this goal so we can continue our work in prevention, early diagnosis, research, and care for Australians affected by bowel cancer.
Your donation will help Bowel Cancer Australia, voted the Best Small Charity of the Year 2019, continue to do what we do best – champion what matters most to people affected by Australia’s second deadliest cancer.
Over 15,000 Australians were told ‘you have bowel cancer’ this year.
We offer the only Bowel Care Nurse and Nutritionist Helpline and the very popular Peer-to-Peer Support Network, often referred to by patients and loved ones as a ‘lifeline’.
In addition, the inaugural Lawrence Penn Chair of Bowel Cancer Research, funded by Bowel Cancer Australia supporters like you, is at the forefront of proteomic research with the opening of the spectrometry core research facility this year.
