Hello Voornaam,
Our mission here at Posit Science is to help people sustain and improve brain health with evidence-based resources. While we know that training your brain with BrainHQ is the most efficient way to rewire the brain for better cognitive function and quality of life, we also know that there are many other lifestyle choices that can support brain health.

Every other month, we host a fun and informative “BrainHQ Academy” webinar for our subscribers that helps participants understand brain function and how to support their own brains, based on current research.

Past topics have included things like nutrition, travel, social life, and neurodiversity. April’s topic is on music!

Plus, on alternate months, we do a deep dive into BrainHQ features and exercises to help our users understand how everything works and why. You can find a schedule of all our upcoming webinars here.

While the live webinars, which include a Q and A with our scientists, are only available to BrainHQ subscribers, anyone can watch recordings of our historical webinars on our YouTube channel.
Best regards,

Breaching the blood-brain barrier

Blood circulates throughout the body, including the brain. But the brain has a dense shield—the blood-brain barrier—that stops many of the pathogens and toxins that might accompany blood from passing into the brain. While that safeguards the brain, it also prevents most medications from reaching the brain. New research might show how to deliver important treatments to the brain by slipping through the blood-brain barrier. Learn more.

Talk, talk, talk

For the brain, talking is extremely complicated. When we talk, our brains have to plan what we’re going to say, and then get the sound sequences in order. Why don’t we garble everything up? A new study shows how our brains prepare to and then deliver signals to produce speech. Learn more.
