I get asked often how it is that you differentiate yourself from the crowd. It's simple: do something different.

Every market has a few top-level folks who are shaking shit up, followed by a sea of people who are just imitating what they've done to succeed. If someone breaks from the crowd, it's because they stuck their neck out and did something different. And that gets them noticed.

Every field, every niche, every person has an opportunity to break the mold of tradition in your business to shake up the market and try something new.

And if you do that, you move ahead.

But it's not just about moving ahead, it's also about building a business that's right for you. The internet has given us a space to create our own models that will reach and resonate with people around the globe. Are you taking advantage of that?

Don't box yourself into what others are doing. Get quiet, listen to that wise yet curious entrepreneur bone in your body, and take a chance on something new.

It doesn't have to be big, but it has to be done.
