Three officers on a U.S. marshals task force were killed and five other officers were shot while serving a warrant in Charlotte, North Carolina, officials said. One of the officers remains in critical condition, and a suspect is also dead. The violence started while a fugitive task force was serving a warrant on a suspect in possession of a firearm.
