More than 900 new Covid cases

The latest Scottish coronavirus figures have been confirmed by Deputy First Minister John Swinney.

There have been 966 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, and sadly 41 new deaths. It brings the total of confirmed cases in Scotland almost to 100,000.

Coronavirus outbreak at care home

A care home in Aberdeenshire is being investigated after more than 40 positive Covid-19 cases were detected between staff and residents.

The home is now closed to new admissions and visiting.
