| | Police in suburban Dallas fired the officer who fatally shot a black teenager on Tuesday, The New York Times and The Associated Press reported. Jordan Edwards, 15, was shot in the head by police outside a party last weekend. The Dallas County District Attorney's Office said its civil rights team willconduct an "impartial and independent investigation."
