These 11 areas are moving down to level 3

Some good news for those Scots living in 11 council areas in Scotland as Nicola Sturgeon has announced they will be moved from level 4 to level 3 later this week. 

It's one of the changes to Scotland's Covid tier system which have just been announced by the First Minister this afternoon.

No move for the Capital

It was thought Edinburgh may be moved down to level 2 restrictions, but instead it will remain the same at level 3, along with six other areas.

Nicola Sturgeon said the 'imminence of the Christmas period' made an impact on the decision.
