These are the NHS workers eligible for the £500 bonus

Health and care workers in Scotland are to be given a £500 payment as a "thank you" for their work during the pandemic, Nicola Sturgeon has said.

The scheme, which will be funded from the Government's Covid-19 support package, applies to employees employed since March 17.

These are the workers, as set out by the Scottish Government, who will be eligible for the pro-rata £500 bonus scheme.

New lockdown levels to be announced

The First Minister will be addressing parliament today to announce any changes made to the lockdown levels across the country.

There are five levels in Scotland, ranging from zero to four and each increase in level sees tighter restrictions put in place.

Here's when Nicola Sturgeon will speak and what we can expect.

Thanks for reading,

Sam Shedden
