Five people were charged with attempting to bribe a juror in Minnesota after authorities found a “chilling” plan to give a juror more than $120,000 and specific instructions on how to convince other jurors to vote to acquit, federal prosecutors said. The federal fraud trial was the first in a $250 million scheme that prosecutors said was the largest of its kind.
